What is HOOPTEQ and what’s included?
HOOPTEQ is the world’s first portable shooting machine in a backpack. It comes with the HOOPTEQ unit, a backpack, and a swappable cover. The companion app includes training drills, games, and shot feedback.
Is what's on the website the final version that's going to market?
No. What is currently on the website are photos and videos of early prototypes. The final version is in production and your contribution to the presale campaign helps HOOPTEQ get the product over the finish line. In the meantime, HOOPTEQ is committed to providing continual behind the scenes access to our journey to develop it and invites you to join in to build this together. Before the product is shipped you will have a detailed look into the final version including live and pre recorded demonstration videos with Q and As, updated product shots and feature lists, etc.
When will HOOPTEQ be available and how much does it cost?
HOOPTEQ is available to pre-order now for $699.99 (regular price: $999.99). The goal is for orders to ship later in 2025, pending UL certification safety standards. We’ll follow up with exact dates and send a notification when your unit ships.
How many basketballs does HOOPTEQ hold?
HOOPTEQ holds 2+ standard basketballs and works with youth, women’s, and men’s regulation sizes for nonstop reps.
How fast can I set up HOOPTEQ?
Early tests have shown going… from backpack to training in under 2 minutes. Quick, easy, and built for hoopers who want more reps, and less time setting up.
Is the version on the site the final product?
Not yet. What you see is our MVP, a functional prototype to showcase HOOPTEQ’s vision and performance. The final version will include updates based on testing and community feedback.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you cancel your order before it ships, you’ll receive a full refund minus a 3% processing fee*. Refunds go back to your original payment method and may take up to 10 business days. (*Note: Because payment providers don’t refund processing fees, all returns are subject to a small processing fee to help us cover those costs. We appreciate your understanding.)
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Not yet. We currently ship within the U.S. only, but we’re working on international options. Stay tuned!
